Tuscaloosa, Ala—Interim dean Jennifer Greer has several plans for the future of the College of Communications and Information Sciences at The University of Alabama that may make the school and its graduates among the top in the country.
When approached with the position of interim dean, Greer said her immediate questions were if there was something she could add or some way she could help.
“If I don’t think that I have value to bring to the table then I won’t go for that job,” Greer said.
Greer considered applying for the position of permanent dean but said she felt the school needed somebody different than her as permanent dean.
